What role do the partnering organizations and churches play?

First, partnering organizations and churches share our passion to see churches planted in California and have agreed to endorse the Plant California Initiative.

What role does Plant California play?

Plant California is committed to recruiting planters to the state of California. We do this through marketing, networking, and vision trips, and residencies). Once a planter is committed to planting a church in California, we bridge the gap between them and our partnering organizations. Finally, we donate funds to help California church plants with start up costs.

How do the partnering organizations and churches help planters?

That depends. Each of the partnering organizations and churches has their own unique blend of contributions to offer planters. Typically, these contributions come in the form of finances, training, encouragement, etc.
Also, each of the partnering organizations and churches have their own unique requirements for receiving contributions. Once an introduction is made, the potential planter can work through these requirements to see if a partnership is available.

Is a planter required to partner with all of the partnering organizations and churches?

No. The decision to build an official partnership is completely up to the planter and the partnering organizations or churches.

How were the partnering organizations and churches chosen?

Our partners were chosen on the basis of mission and proficiency. Each of these partners has a focus on planting churches and has shown a high capacity for executing that mission.
